Coffee Talk is a ministry to international students, providing a meal and the chance to practice English in the context of Christian hospitality, whether we are discussing religion or dangling participles! We have many students from Seattle Central Community College right across the street that gather at our church once a week for Coffee Talk, and students from elsewhere are welcome as well. Our goal is to support the CHPC mission by sharing the hope, and serving in love, with those who have come from the ends of the earth to sojourn in our own backyard.
You can get involved by donating or helping prepare food, setting up/cleaning up for Friday dinners 3:30 - 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall, providing the conversation on Friday, or filling other support niches.
